Description

Our client is a privately owned care home provider enjoying a programme of steady growth and high occupancy levels across their group.


We are currently seeking an experienced Home Manager who is nurse qualified to manage their nursing home in Hoxne, Eye, Diss. The nursing home is for people who demand the finest environment for quality care in the Diss area.

Registered as a 30-bedded nursing home.


We are interested to hear from nurse managers with two years previous home management experience. You will oversee all aspects of the day to day running of the home. You will therefore need to enjoy being autonomous within the role. You'll not only have a flair for business and the drive to make a commercial success of the home, but also be equally committed to creating a nurturing environment for your residents and for your staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the home, ensuring the delivery of high quality person centred care for the homes residents.
You will possess excellent leadership and recruitment experience, as well as experience with marketing and budgetary management. You will be able to communicate effectively and passionately with residents, families and staff alike.
You will be responsible for leading and supervising the support and nursing teams to deliver the highest standards of person centred care using clinical governance and their own personal development.


Criteria / Person Specification

In order to be considered for this role:
  • RGN or RMN (active NMC pin) Preferable 
  • NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Management, or equivalent
  • In depth understanding of the regulatory requirements such as Health and Social Care Act, CQC regulations, KLOEs and rating characteristics
  • Passionate about providing high quality person-centred care and be dynamic and driven with clear ambition to develop.  
  • You will need to have strong IT skills as you will be working with a lot of different platforms. 
  • Dementia experience is essential for this position

Our client is offering an excellent remuneration package including:

 A salary up to £50,000 per year + £5,000 PRP

25 days annual leave (plus public holidays)
