Our client is a family owned national care home operator rated as one of the top 20 large groups by carehome.co.uk. They are one of the fastest growing healthcare companies in the sector.
This is a special role that emphasises on ensuring their residents and families are supported and engaged in life within their Nursing Home in Bedford, Bedfordshire.
-To maintain a stimulating programme of leisure pursuits and social events for both groups of residents and on an individual basis.
-Produce a weekly social events programme and ensure that it is advertised within the home and through external channels (marketing team, social media...).
-To organise social and recreational events within (tea parties, fetes, craft fairs...) and outside the home (music groups, dramatic societies, schools, colleges...).
-To assess on a regular basis the effectiveness of the programme of social events and recreational pursuits.
-Responsible for maintaining the annual activities planner.
-Establish relationships with the local community.
-To attend appropriate training courses and/or programmes to enhance personal and professional knowledge and skills.
